Cubicle Dividing Gate

314.00 Incl. VAT

82 in stock (can be backordered)

The dividing gate is mounted on the cubicles by two brackets that slide over the cubicle. This gate is a two-bar fence that separates cows while housed. It is easily moved to any part of the cubicle shed to separate cows that are about to calve from the rest of the herd. We just send the two side and you get the 48OD pipes for the middle yourself. You can get this anywhere, most co-op’s have it. It is just very expensive to transport full-length pipes as they are oversize for shipping.

The two side clip on to your cubicles each side and then you cut the pipe to length. The pipe should be slightly longer than the opening as it goes inside and you tighten a bolt to hold in place.

  • Hot Dip Galvanised
  • Slide over brackets
  • Fits most cubicle styles

48OD PIPE NOT INCLUDED, YOU MUST BUY YOUR OWN PIPE.

Hugh MacEneaney, Teagasc Dairy Adviser, Mullinavat, Co Kilkenny

“Good facilities allow farmers to expand production and incomes and add to the asset value of the farm. They also lead to a better quality of life for the farm family by reducing the workload and the drudgery. In many cases, particularly on dairy farms, buildings pay for themselves over a 7-10 year period. This is especially true when capital grant and tax savings are available.”
